Yuck Energies....

Hi All, 

Here is what we are dealing with:

I don't know about all of you but I can tell Mercury is in Retrograde.  My cellphone and car hate each other and they both have joined forces against me.  Does this sound familiar?  Well the good news is it is done by the holidays.  December 22, or 23.  So hang in there.  Most of the things effected are electronics and anything dealing with communications.  Hence the phone.

So best advice, clear your energy as much as you can.  Don't buy any new electronics or phones until after Christmas and this is over.

Let's jump into dates because there is a lot going on.

Sunday Night was a Super Moon. Did you feel the energy?  Because Mercury also went retrograde.  Yep, Happy Joy!

Wednesday the 13th is the beginning of Hanukkah.  It ends the 20th.

Monday the 18th is the New Moon.

Thursday the 21st is Winter Solstice/Yule

December 24th Christmas Eve and the 25th is Christmas.  Merry Christmas!

December 24th is also the beginning of the Celtic Month of Birch.

Kwanzaa is the 26th of December.  Happy Kwanzaa!

This month a lot of things going on. 

Things to celebrate and rituals to do.  

With all the Holidays going on this month it is important to keep your energy healthy and protected.  So cut your cords several times a day and smudge yourself at least nightly.  It wouldn't be a bad idea to wear protective stones and do daily energy work on yourself or medications to keep your energy clear.

Review:  Protective stones fall into the colors of black or dark stones.  Onyx or Smokey Quartz, etc..  Your birthstone is also a protection stone unique to your birth month. So if you have it wear it.

Smudging:  This is a technique where you burn sage leaves or palo santo wood and fan the smoke over your body.  Light your sage and get it burning pretty good then blow it out so there is a good smoke stream.  Then fan the smoke up over your body and over your head.  Do this several times to clear your energy.

Remember when you are interacting with people you are sending out energy cords plugging into them and they are doing the same to you.  Through out the day clear yourself of these cords.

I am not sure where the new year is going to take me with the blog.  It has been real hard to devote time to writing and then trying to put together a few outlines for books I want to work on, plus life in general.  In 2018, I hope to have an office in New Richmond, WI.  I am also booking expos I will be at 2 in March and 2 in April so far.  Those will post on the facebook Mystic Monday page, here and on my new website at www.sacredgroveintuitiveservices.com

Chakras and Clearning Your Energy

Hi All,

Today's topic comes by request. Before we get started here are some dates.

Saturday the 18th is the New Moon.  Remember to do your ritual.

Your body is made up of many different energy layers and centers.  Your aura has about 7 layers and your body has many different chakras but we always focus on the main 7 that run down the center of the front of the body.

Energy workers always work on the body from head to toe so let's start at the head.

The Crown chakra is purple or white. I tend to go with white as it's main purpose is to keep us connected with spirit or our source.  Stones that I will sometimes to grid the body for the crown charka are clear quartz or moonstone.

The third eye is located in the middle of your forhead.  For me I see this one as purple instead of the indigo as listed up on top.  The third eye is where all of our psychic abilities are manifested.  Your intuition.  Meditation is the biggest thing you can do to workout this part of your brain.  I use amathyst for a stone here and place it right on the third eye.

The throat chakra is next down the line.  The color for this chakra is blue.  I like working with bluelace agate for this area.  This is the center for your voice and speaking your truth.  Standing up for yourself if you will.

The hear chakra is next and can be green or pink.  So here I use malachite or rose quartz when using stones.  This is your heart center.  Love, compassion, acceptance and forgiveness all stem from here.

Sacral Chakra is next  it is yellow and I like to use citrene here. This is where your emotions come in.  It is also about pleasure and happiness.

The solar plexus is next.  Located just below your belly.   Orange in color.  I like to use carnealian stone here.

This is where you power and confidence is.

Then last the root.  Red in color. I use garnet or any black grounding stones here.  This is the chakra that keeps you grounded to Mother Earth.

So this is a basic 101 of the chakras.  Balancing and keeping them clean is another topic.

Everyone has there own ways to clear and block the chakras.  Reiki practitioners channel reiki to the chakras using symbols to clear them.  Intuitive healers may use the universal white light and stones to clear and balance them.  Some healers use smudging and stones.  It's all up to you and what feels right.  Keep your intent for your highest good and you won't go wrong. You can also ask Archangel Raphael for help.  He is the healing angel. Your guides will also assist you with clearing and balancing but you have to ask.  Remember you have free will so they can't just do it without permission from you.

Meditation will clear and balance your chakras.  You simply visualize the chakras one at a time.  Look at each spinning ball and see if you see any dull spots.  Then wipe it clean.  Then look to see if it is spinning as it should.  If not simply spin it like you would a top to set it right again.  In Mystic Monday the book I include a few meditations.  

You can also use sage or palo santo wood to smudge yourself and clear out your energy.

Welcome Back! And our topic is Death.....

Hi All,

Welcome Back!  This weekend's events inspired me to write a return.  Also just to put this out there if you have topics or subjects you'd like discussed please email me as I am not only back to writing here I will be writing a new series of books with topics that vary on the subject of Energy Work, Reiki and perhaps some tools used such as Crystals and how to use them.

Sunday was the first day of Reed in the Celtic Tree Calendar.

Halloween is Tuesday!  The death of the old year and start of the new.  As you all know on this day the veil drops and spirits can come through a lot easier than on a normal day of the year.  Be warned weird things can happen on Halloween.  This would be a great time to prepare a small ritual of honoring those who have passed and putting to rest any old, stale energy that no longer serves you.

Today's topic is brought on by having had to attend a funeral of a distant cousin, one whom I didn't know, who this past week was tragically taken from her family way to early… or was she?  Now with that opening statement don't get angry just breathe and read on.

In 2002 my life changed when I was introduced to Reiki.  My childhood abilities started to return and I have spent years reading, studying and practicing to regain them.  What does this have to do with our topic?  Tons.  Since then I have stopped looking at death the way "normal" people do.  I still see the tragic, the aging, the whatever reason it is that causes a person to die.  However, I also question it, look at it as a beginning and not an ending, and for me it's a shift in reality.

What the hell is she talking about?  Well let me explain.  I have been communicating with crossed over loved ones and ghost-souls that have not crossed over and are stuck here for one reason or another.  Here is what I have learned over the years and what I have recently learned through a reading I did a few weeks ago.

A few years ago I did a blog on death and what it was like for suicides as I had thought and read about, as described by other mediums.  A few weeks ago I did a very public reading for a client whose crossed over loved one was a “suicide” when he was alive on this side.   The crossed over loved one stated that he had done what he had done because it was written in his chart as a way out.  See, we can write ourselves many death points in a life chart and chose at that time to take or not take it.  Ever have a close call car crash?  How about an out of body experience or any other near death?  He had written in his life chart a very difficult life and chose this point to exit.  However, the good in his exit was this.  His untimely exit was a lesson for his crossed over loved one's soul.  Now I can't make all of this story public, but I can say that at this point it was a turning point and learning experience of the client as the event was made in their contracts to help her soul evolve.

So my opinion of suicide has changed greatly. I use to think that a suicide soul would be wrapped in love, taken by their guides to review their life and then get sent back ASAP to repeat the lesson they were supposed to learn but took an out instead. I still believe this can happen for some.  I also believe that some cross over and choose to stay there and live a happy life on the other side until we are all reunited again.

A few years back a college friend of mine was murdered.  I was angry, I went through all the “what if's”.  Then I read a book about the other side, I believe it was written by Sylvia Brown, who I take with a grain of salt but what she had said made sense to me.  In the book it stated something like, souls who are murdered choose this death because they are highly evolved souls and are choosing this to teach a great lesson for the souls they contracted with in this life time.  Through this violent death, the souls of the group they incarnated with will then be helped more rapidly to reach the next level of evolving and becoming closer to The Source.  (God, Goddess, whoever you believe in)

For me this gives comfort in this choice made in the out the person chose.  It is also a way to help the person's soul who did the unthinkable act.  So for the family that reads this, I offer this comfort.  I also know that you will be one day see her when you cross over.  She will be there to greet you and help you do what it is you need to when the time comes. 

Now I can get into an entire book about what about this death or that death....Bottom line is this.  Death is not an ending but a shift in location.  One is no longer physically present in our world but they are here when you need them.

So talk to them, call on them and then the trick is to quiet your mind so you can hear them or be open minded enough to recognize a sign they could put in your way so you know they are listening.

What am I doing?

Hi All,
What am I doing?  I have no clue.  LOL.  I am busy researching the Goddess Nemetona and working with Tree energy.
We are back from out visit to Williamsburg, VA and Jamestown along with a trip to Yorktown.  I must say the energy was very different.  Most ghost seemed to be attached to items that were on display at the places we stopped.
The only interesting "ghost" photo I have from our trip is from the George Wythe house.  George Wythe was the tutor and friend of Thomas Jefferson.  His house was used by George Washington as a headquarters in 1781 as he planned the battle of Yorktown.  George Wythe was also the first Virginian to sign the Declaration of Independence.
Here is the photo.  Look in the Mirror to on the left side of the photo.

The pictures below were of the plantation home on our resort.

This was the house plantation home that our resort was built around.  The Powhatan Plantation.  I couldn't find any history on this house to confirm what I was picking up on.  I did find that there was once a fire in the home during the Civil War.

I walked into this home and was feeling a little ill.  As I walked around the home nothing popped out in the photos but I felt the presence of a small girl, light brown curly hair.  She was about 6 or 7.  She didn't say much just walked from room to room.  In the dinning area I felt the presence of a slave.  She didn't talk just watched as I walked through out the house.

Most of the places we toured we were not allowed to take photos.

That is all I have for this week.  As I am working on some research and working with some energies for healing and channeling.

Summer Solstice

Let's start with dates:
June 21 is Summer Solstice/Litha

June 23 is the New Moon.

I wanted to write a blog about the Summer Solstice but it has been done and click here to visit it.  This one was pretty good and summed everything up.

Friday is the New Moon.  Don't forget to do your ritual.  If you are new to energy work then journal how you feel on this day and other energy days of the Wheel of the Year.

The first thing you should do when you start energy working or opening up your abilities you should buy a journal or a notebook so that you can write your experiences.  There is no right or wrong to what you should write.  Write your symptoms on power days.  Write how you feel after meditations, what you saw, what you used to raise your vibrations.  If you read your own cards everyday or do divination of sorts you should write your readings down  so you can see patterns in your readings and learn from them.  The is no end to what you write and keep track of in your journal.

So this week go and find a journal.

Next weekend I am at a private home reading party.

Abilities

Hi All,
I wanted to take this blog back to kind of a 101 level.  I have had some basic questions come up from people lately and I thought I wonder how many people read this an may not really feel like it is for them because they may not be at a level or have what it is we are talking about for the week or so.
I know now that I have been posting more here and there so I will try to do better and post more.  I have a few things booked for the summer and a few places I want to get to that would make good blog reading.

So let's get started.  Dates:
Flag Day is June 14th and Father's Day is Sunday.

Figuring out your path when you have an idea that you may have something more than the "average Joe".  I was going to use normal but really what is normal?
I an speak from experience only with the abilities of being a medium and a healer and how  that came into my life.  But it has to be just as confusing for anyone else who may have a different ability going on.  The other thing to remember is that times have changed a lot in the last 20 to 30 years.  When I was growing up topics that I put out there here on the blog were  not talked about.  Children who could describe a person who wasn't there to an adult had imaginary friends.  Fear of the dark was because it was a childhood norm not because there was actually something in the room that came to visit once in a while.

So today let's go there back to the beginning for some of us and for others just starting maybe a starting point.

Recently I had the question asked, "How do I know what I should be doing?  I feel like I have something but I'm not sure what to do?"  My answer: Listen to your gut.  Yep your instinct of what it is you are looking to open up and use. Listen to it.  It's not wrong and if you have a reading to seek help and what you hear doesn't really fit, don't write it off totally, put it on the back burner and go with your gut first.  Second, don't get frustrated.  We all have different abilities and levels that we are born with.  I like to tell people "We all are born with abilities, just like we can all learn to play football, we all can learn and practice but we all may never be the level of a pro like Aaron Rogers." We all have abilities from birth some are programed more with DNA that makes it easier for them to access and use those abilities and some need practice.  Don't give up.

How to listen to your gut.  What is it that is nagging you?  Do you have the pull of healing?  Do you hear, see, feel or just know things to find out that you are right about what information you had. Are you super sensitive to energy around you or other people's feelings?

My first suggestion would be to start reading about what it is you are pulled to.  There are a lot of great books out there and websites that can help you figure it out.  Look for classes in your area from local metaphysical stores.  Sitting in on an hour or two class can help you figure out if it is for you or not.  One think I have learned is to listen to the universe.  Sometimes what I think I need to learn is something that may not be on my path so then when I try to get to a class or an event from a group I can never make it there because the dates just don't line up in my schedule.
Get information from different sources.  When I started Reiki I read on the traditional path of practicing but I am not one to follow the A, B, C approach and go with what I am guided to do.  So more non traditional works of reading were more for me.  So I read things from Wiccan authors that wrote about healing, I talked with like minded practitioners to see what or how others were using energy work.

The only wrong way to do something is if you are not doing it for your highest good or the highest good of your client.  What you put out will circle back to you so always work for the highest good.

I am having a difficult time keeping this general and not going off into directions so please if you have questions or need some direction email me and I will point you in a direction if I can.

Walk Ins

Hi All,
I have been wanting to write this but life just got in the way.

A few weeks ago I was doing a reading for a friend when the topic of a walk in came up via the person I was channeling.  I am by no means an expert on this subject.  I just wanted to present the little information I have so that you can think it over and maybe it will click for someone reading this.

What is a walk in?  Well this is going to get kinda hairy explaining so I will try to keep it simple.  Soul 1 let's call this soul Bobby.  Soul 2 we are going to name John.  So Bobby dies and instead of crossing over sticks around to watch over family and friends.  He isn't ready to cross over fully for whatever his reasons and he is attached to one person who is still alive.  He pops in and out of her life and checks on her.  He is around making sure she is safe.  Eventually that isn't enough and Bobby thinks about stepping into another body because he really wants to be part of the life he left behind. This is where John comes in.  John has a "near death".  Let's say John was out swimming and gets in over his head and can't make it to shore.  In the second it takes for John to decide he is done and this is an exit point in his chart that he can take and does, Bobby enters Johns body as John's body is dead for a few seconds as John exits.

Ok you still with me here.  Now Bobby is in Johns body.  John's friends are able to revive him but he has this memory loss or fog and can't remember anything or them.  He is taken to the hospital looked over and is fine yet he has some memory loss.  Bobby, the soul in the body, doesn't remember anything from his life that he died from or why he wants to be here.  He is having problems figuring out what he is doing.  He can't remember anything and the people around him are strange and yet he has some memories of this John life as the body's cellular memory is trying to help him remember the life he is currently in.  Time goes by and John aka Bobby never really seems to feel like he fits into his life.  From what I understand this can go on or something like and event can change that and make everything click for Bobby so that he remembers things.  He may start having vivid dreams of this life in his own Bobby body.  He may walk into places that Bobby would have frequented and experience a De javu.  The point is Bobby as John has come into John's body so that he wouldn't have to wait the entire process of  being born and growing up again.  He came in to figure out how to fit back into his unfinished business.

Now I can't tell you how it ends because I've never know this to happen personally.  I can tell you during a reading this idea came up with the spirit I was channeling to my client and that this spirit was already crossed over.  So there was some way on the other side he was charting with the guides of another soul already alive so he could do this.  I don't know when or how this will work out if it does.

I would love to hear stories of any one's experiences with this.
That is my thought for this week.

Happy May Day! Happy Beltane!

Hi All,

The layout of this is so not cooperating with me today so I apologize if it looks funny.

Today if course is Beltane so find some time to get your ritual in. 

Friday is Cinco de Mayo.  Party to start the weekend.

This weekend I was at and expo and met some amazing people.

There was a theme going on this weekend with the people I say and it all pointed to working on our lessons to move on so that we can evolve spiritually and work through out well, crap.  lol.

It is never our place to judge what other people are going through.  Although I understand and am guilty of doing so because we are all human after all and it is what we do.  I had one person come to my table this weekend who taught me that lesson.  She was a very strong woman learning the lesson of self love and how to love unconditionally in a very difficult situation.  She was doing amazing work on herself and the person she is going through life with at this point and time.  I was in awe of her courage, strength and determination. 

Lesson number 2 came over and we both had our eyes open to unconditional love with healing work for the soul and past life self past life healing work.  A very difficult lesson to learn to fill a past life self up with love when the person may not be so lovable. 

So what does this all mean?  Why did I share? 

We are all here to master our lessons and from my work with people their crossed over loves ones the messages from the otherside are always about unconditional love.  The one thing we need to make peace with is that love comes from our source our higher power.  We have to first accept that and then accept that we need to love ourselves and have respect for ourselves first before we can have love for others.  These steps are not always easy to learn and sometime we may have gotten it only to forget it.  We can so this with working on ourselves through meditation or prayer, reading books, articles and going to classes that a line with what it is we would like to gain. 

It is for you to figure out what the best way is for you to get your home work here done.  Ask for help when you need it.  Your spirit team is always with you to guide you and give you the support you need or help you find someone to help you on your way.

Sunday started the Celtic Month of Willow.

Star People

Hi All,

Hayward this last weekend was interesting.  I was doing a Reiki session on a woman and it turned out to be super interesting.  When I closed my eyes and used my third eye to tune into her energy and guides, her energy was a bright white, the brightest I've experienced.  Than as I "looked" over directly in front of me stood only what I can describe as an alien being.  He had an oval head and long fingers and I knew he was her guide.  I heard "She is a Star person".  Know I have read about star people incarnating on our planet into human form just as many of us have incarnated life after life here. However, I have never run across anyone and really to me the idea was a little far fetched.  ( I know right) 

According to Doreen Virtue's Earth Angle book, which by the way was the first place I had read about different incarnations and beings that incarnate here on Earth, Star people are on Earth to spread kindness and do so by not being noticed  for it as they do not like to call attention to themselves.  These people come from all over the universe.  Earth as you know is one of the hardest planets one can incarnate to.   The lessons here can be the hardest we write for ourselves.    i

So this week's blog not a lot of information but something I wanted to share because things we do not know of really are out there.  Sometimes we are lucky enough to be shown them just to remind us to believe.

The Future of Mystic Monday

Hi All,
This next month is going to be real busy for me with 2 Expos.  One in Hayward on the 8th and one at the end of the month in Eau Claire.

I have some ideas I am kicking around for a direction to go with this blog so keep checking back as I will be posting here and there.  I will try to post on Mondays but maybe every other instead of every Monday until I get stuff in place.

Panama and Unexpected Ghost?

I am writing because since I have been on a vacation and have taken a break here I have been sitting on a very rare photo that I could not wait to share but had been advised to keep it secrete until I was able to copyright it.  So here is the story and the find.

Please note all of the photos that I post are taken and owned by myself.  I have not authorized any person to use or share these photos.

In February of this year, I was given the opportunity to go on a vacation to Panama.  Now I can go on and on about what an eye opening experience it was and how much I enjoyed everything.  We were able to see the Panama canal the old and new.  We saw the old part of Panama City and did a few tours.  On one of our tours is where our story starts.

Because our resort was on the Pacific side of the country we had a 2 to 3 hour bus ride to Portobelo.  Once there we had limited time at each stop.  Portobelo being our first stop than we had to be off to lunch at a beach side restaurant and time to soak up some Caribbean beach before getting back on the bus to Colon where we boarded a historical train back to Panama City.

This is a town that was founded by Christopher Columbus and has a history of pirates along with Captain Morgan.  Sir Francis Drake also has some history with Portobelo.

The fort was built from coral which we were told stands up to cannon ball fire pretty well.  While we were there they were doing some repairs.
I was shocked that there was no information or gift shop to purchase information on the sights we were seeing.  There were also no tickets to be purchased it was all just walk in and walk around.

Before I start my church bit, I want to say I was in no way "ghost hunting".  I did sense some around but I was not in paranormal mode.  Had I been I would have taken more photos in a row to show areas of Iglesia de San Felipe better.

At the end of this story and photos I will post some links so if you would like you can read up on some of what I saw.

The first sight we walked into in Portobelo was this amazing Spanish Roman Catholic Church.  Now being brought up Roman Catholic I was a bit angry that we just walked in as a group, pretty much rudely took over the church and took photos where ever we wanted and walked out.  I felt like we as a tour group were disrespecting the church.  I will also say the group we were with was basically rude.  The people in general had no issues staying in the way when you wanted to take a photo and just went on a head and walked in front of us as we were trying to take a quick photo.  

The area itself is very poor.  We witnessed a woman washing her daughter in the garden hose.  Giving her a "shower" right there on the front steps to the house.  There are also dogs and cats running around all over just free.  

Iglesia de San Felipe Roman Catholic Church is the home to the famous Cristo Negro statue.  This is the reason why we had stopped at this church.  I was in awe of the beauty in the church.  The alter and the statues of the Virgin Mother and the Stations of the Cross were amazing as well as the Black Christ.

Two times a year they change the robes.  In October there is a huge festival to honor the Black Christ and people walk hours from all over Panama some crawling the last mile to pray for miracles.  

One of the stories we were told went that there was a ship the Black Christ was to leave on bound for another port.  When they hooked oxen up to the cart to pull the statue to the ship the oxen team refused to move, so they would hook another and another team up all oxen refusing to move it.  So they left it in the church in Portobelo.  Another story goes that every time they tried to load it on board a ship a storm would kick up and prevent the people from loading the statue.  It is said the statue does not wish to leave Portobelo.

And now the ghost........

                                      I am in this church taking pictures and walking around, rushed because we are in a large group and the guide did not give us a lot of time.  The photos I took I basically stood in the back of the group and didn't listen much to what was being said because I was too interested in the church.  These next photos are of the wall to the right of the alter.  The wall is made up of old gravestones.  This wall interested me and I couldn't get a clear shot as there were people constantly walking in front of me....God forbid I get a photo.  However.......Little did I know what would be in one of the photos.  It wasn't until I was going through the photos at the hotel that I discovered this little one and showed him off to some of the non believers that were with me.  I can say I wish I would have been in paranormal mode and had a voice recorder on me but I didn't and I wasn't. :(

Pretty amazing.  

Friends about fell out of their chairs when they saw this on my camera.

I am waiting on a clear photo of the head stone above him.  I had Freddy my friend from our old paranormal group in Steven's Point, WI look at this and as Freddy's home language is Spanish, he did read some of the headstones for me.  Again I am waiting on a clearer photo of the headstone in question and then I can release more of who we think this boy is.

Well All, That is what I have.  No ghost story so to speak.  Just my photo that I did copyright as advised by my friends since it was taken in a famous church.

Sunday March 19th

Hi All,
I am trying to get Mystic Monday written to post for tomorrow however, I am having issues with Blogger not wanting to post pictures or attach pictures to the blog.  If I cannot get this to work to post for Monday, I will try to get it all to post this week.

Next Saturday I will be at Barker's Island in Superior Wisconsin for a Body Lab USA Expo.  Doors open at 10am.  Stop out and see me.

Hi All,
I am back from vacation.  I have taken some amazing pictures but cannot share as I am copyrighting one. 
Today has been a day where I am going back and forth about continuing the blog.  There for after talking to a few people I am taking a break from the blog until May.  I want to make some changes and do some research and possibly take some classes in the healing arts. 

I am also busy researching topics and chapters for a re-write of Mystic Monday the book.  So as of right now I have a lot going on and on my plate. 
I do have dates posted in events for upcoming Expos that I am looking forward to being at.

Things for thought....

Today I will knock out the  normal lay out but I want to also put some stuff out there just for you to think about.

Here is a video I think is worth every one's attention.  Loved what Matt had to say. Click here for the Youtube link.  Matt Kahn "The End of the Old Paradigm".  It's about taking power back, what we are manifesting as a planet, our lessons and how to get out of Hell.  Great watch I don't want to give it away.

I have so many things going on.  This month I will be taking the next two Monday's off as I will be traveling.

This week I chose a different deck of cards.  This week we are using the Ascended Masters Deck from Doreen Virtue.
When I shuffle the cards I am asking for the guidance for all who read this.

Purification:  Something about the situation needs purification.  Could be your motives or intent.  Look at your motives or intentions for the situation and make sure they hold no fear.  Fear will taint the out come.
This card could also be talking about your life style.  Look at the food food you are eating or the products you are using around your house or say even your skin care.

Yes:  Keep a positive mind set as all the door are opening for you right now.

Find the Blessing in Your Current Situation:
When you find a blessing in your situation you open the energy to more positive outcomes.  Every situation is a learning experience.  This card tells you there is a blessing that is going unrecognized in your current situation.

Detach from Drama:  This card tells us to step back and do not get caught up in the drama around us.  This is in the world around us ( the news) to our daily lives (friends and family).  I am practicing this by reminding people on my Facebook that I am not engaging in any politic talk and do not care to see it.  Detach, Detach, Detach.

Freedom:  Walk away from restrictions.  You have the freedom to walk away.  Your soul is crying out for freedom.

So there you go All.  Detox, Keep positive, find the Blessing, DETACH, and Freedom.

Visit to the Salt Room in Woodbury, MN

Hi All,
I had to write about the Salt Room in Woodbury, MN.  One of the ladies that has group with me once a month set this amazing hour up for all of us.

I had no idea what I would be in for.  Our group had not meet for a long time and we were catching up.  Well I arrived and signed in.  I was greeted by Gloria.  Very nice woman with a ton of great information.  Gloria I will be back to buy some stuff. 
If you like your salt lamp you should give this a try.  We took off our shoes and rolled our sleeves and pants up a bit.  Gloria said as much skin exposed the better.  She taught us how to breath to get the most out of the salt solution they pumped into the air once she closed the door.  But honestly just laying in there chit chatting we had enough intake of salt.  The floor had three inches of salt and the walls and ceiling was covered as well.  The lights were dimmed and we all talked while we had our hour session in the salt.  It went by fast.  The rooms have chairs but we had yoga mats in ours which was fine by all of us.  We laid on the floor and buried our hands and what we could of our feet in the salt.

I can say I slept amazing.  I was tired on the drive home.  I felt completely relaxed.  One of the ladies with had not had a good night sleep in months.  She said she rare ever slept more than 3 hours and her sleep was not restful.  She reported the next morning that she slept amazing after her session.  She also had a rough itchy patch of skin from stress that would not heal.  Well the next morning it was almost gone.

After looking at the sight the benefits to skin and lungs are huge.  I will be going back for sessions for sure. 
I encourage you to look into this and check it out even if you do not have health problems.  Try it just to relax and meditate.

For this year there was a lot about what is your truth or what feels right to you.  Detaching from all the drama and chaos.  Watch it.  Doreen brings in some good advice.

Ah groundhog day.  The one day a year we let a rodent tell us how many weeks we will have left of winter.

If the groundhog sees his shadow 6 more weeks of winter. *Sigh*

Imbolc

Thursday is also Imbolc.  The day of Brigid.  The day we celebrate the return of light.

Creative Expression:  

Let go of all your expectations of how to express yourself and just do it.  What is it you like to do to express yourself?  Write, paint play music or dance?  Just do it!

Honoring Your True Feelings:

Do not discount what you know to be true in your heart.  This has come up twice in two different videos I was watching this weekend.  Basically what both people said was your body can tell what is untrue or true by the way it feels.  Use that knowledge to help you when you are wondering about an answer.

Family Harmony:

Forgiving your family for any wrongs or even making amends if you were the one who did the hurting.  By drawing this card your family is healing.

Inner Child:

Inner child here is a subject that books are written about.  Take time to honor and listen to your inner child for he or she can help you heal.  Your daily child needs attention so meditate and get in touch with your child.

Peace of Mind:

This card says to mediate or yoga with being kind to others and self care to help with peace of mind. So basically practice healthy living and you will have a peaceful mind.  This is really one of those you need to figure out for yourself.  Peace is what you make.

Looks like we have homework to do this week.
