Hi All,
Happy Ostara!  Late...lol  Spring Equinox was yesterday.
Wednesday  is the storm moon.  Full moon. High night for manifesting so create your list of what you would like to come into your life and burn it to release your intentions to the universe.

I will be at this event in Hayward.  Stop in and say hi.  I'll be doing Reiki and Readings.  Expo price of $20.  Book future sessions for discounted prices at the expo.

Back to Basics

As a Reiki practitioner and Energy worker, I work with the body's Aura and Chakras.  But really what is a chakra and what does it do?  I wanted to dig into this a bit and really do a great job at presenting some useful information and help you understand what your chakras can do for you to help you maintain wellness.

This week we are going to look at the first chakra the Root Chakra or Base Chakra.
The root chakra is located at the base of the spine.  The color is red. It's the slowest moving of the chakras.  The function of this chakra is to keep you grounded and connected to mother earth. It's also the chakra that helps you with survival.   When the root chakra is balanced and healthy it draws the earth energy up through the feet and channels it up through the spine.  You may feel that everything is good in your life when this chakra is open and balanced.  You have money, a roof over your head, food on the table and you feel pretty good about yourself and your life.

When this chakra is out of balance you can feel tired.  You may experience weight gain.  Because this chakra is at the base of the spine it can manifest in reproductive problems and bladder or intestinal problems.

While reading on the is chakra through a few different sources I found it interesting to learn that the root chakra keeps us connected to past life memories and ancestral memories or traumas that leave emotional imprints on your energy from our parents, grandparents and so on.  Another thing I found out is through this chakra we form bonds or exchange energy with the root chakra of the people we have sexual relations with.  So if you are having a hard time getting over someone you were in a relationship with it may be that your root chakras still have some energy cords together.

You can use a pendulum to check your chakra if you are not able to feel your body's energy.  If you hold a pendulum above the chakra is should spin in a circle pretty strongly if the chakra is open and balances.  If the pendulum circles slow or not at all then you will need to meditate and look at the chakra to clean the chakra and set it spinning.  Once you feel you have cleared the block then you can check it again with the pendulum.  If you are a energy worker you can simply channel white light or reiki to the chakra to open it up and clear it.

Meditation:  See a red wheel spinning at the base of your spine.  Look at it.  What does it look like? Is is bright or is is dull?  Does it look pretty clear or does it have dirty spots on it?  See a bright white light of the Divine come down and set a spark of light in the chakra.  Move the white light inside the chakra around scrubbing the chakra clean and energizing it a sit neeeds.  When you feel the light is done send it blessings and thank you for its assistance.  Now look at your red chakra again.  Do you see a difference?  You may need to ground yourself after this meditation to release any feelings of floating or not being connected.  Holding a black stone will help you ground.  You can do a meditation where you imagine yourself as a tree with your body being the truck and your feet becoming your roots digging deep into mother earth as you are tall.  Your arms and hands become branches stretching up to the sky.  Now send your energy down through your roots to mother earth.  Let her drawn the energy out and take it away.  If you are feeling a little unbalanced from this you can then draw her red energy put through your roots up your trunk and through your branches to the universe.

Once you've done this meditation you can double check your chakra with your pendulum.  Or if you can feel energy use your hands and check the energy by hovering your hands over the area and feeling the flow of energy there.  I can't tell you what it feels like because everyone feels energy different.

When I use a stone to help clear a chakra, I put the stone right on the body over the chakra and leave it there as long as I feel it needs to be.  Sometimes the stones will release themselves by sliding off the body on their own.

This week I through a bit of information out there but really it is the tip of the iceberg of what is out there.  I encourage you to read and practice on yourself and friends or family to fully get in touch with the chakras and their energy.  Next week we will throw in a little of the Aura with the 2nd chakra.

Have an amazing week.

Wendy

St. Patrick's Day, The Color Green, and Alder.

Hi All,
Well this week we have 2 days to mark.
Thursday the 17th is St. Patrick's Day.
Friday the 18th Celtic Tree Month of Alder begins.
Let's discuss these two days and we are going to throw in the color green and what it is associated with.

St. Patrick's Day!
Now I work in St. Paul, MN and let me just say that people are insane over St. Patrick's day in St. Paul.  I would love to experience it since I've been to Minneapolis on St. Patrick's Day.  But it won't be until it occurs on a weekend.

History:
I took these tid bits from www.history.com which has some great videos to watch on St. Patrick.
St. Patrick wasn't Irish....what?  He was English and an aristocrat.  Patrick was taken by Irish raiders and served as a shepherder for 6 years.  When he made it back to his family he went off to become a preist.  After becoming a priest St. Patrick had a vision telling him to return to Ireland.  He did so as a Chirsitan Missionary.  He worked his way through Ireland teaching people about the Holy Trinity with the help of a shamrock.  After his death it wasn't until the 18 century that people began wearing shamrocks on March 17 the day St. Patrick died.  The shamrock fad turned into a wearing green tradition.  St. Patrick grew into a myth and legend.   It is said that he chased all the snakes out of Ireland.  Now this has been a reference as to converting the Pagans to Chirsitians.  But one only really knows.  There is so much that surrounds St. Patrick it is hard to uncover the truth.
Famous St. Patrick's Day parade traditions started in the USA.
From childhood I remember we were told to wear green and sang songs about wearing green for the Irish.  We were also allowed to pinch our friends that were not wearing green.  To do St. Patrick justice please go to history.com.

Green:

Green is associated with the heart chakra.  This charka is about love, loving yourself and loving others.  Green is a balancing and calming color.  It helps to balance our energy . I Green is also about hope, growth, abundance and money.  Sone of the negative of green are jelousy and envy.
Green is also the color that helps us connect with nature.  For me green is very calming and grounding.  It helps me to relax by thinking about nature.  When I think green I see grass and trees this then connects me to mother earth.

Celtic Month of Alder:

I have taken information on Alder from Voice of the Trees by Mickie Mueller.  This is one of my favorite card decks to work with.  I love it.

This blessed tree speaks to you of your own inner wisdom as well as taking the advice of a sage.  This is the time to be open. ( inner voice, guides, signs)  You will find the answers you need from within.    If you are making desisions at this time, make them based on widom instead of emotion.
Alder is associated with the letter F in the Ogham.  Alder loves moist soil and can be found near a river or lake.  The wood ha a red color to it.  It also is water resistant so it was a great choice to make buckets out of.  The celtic people also used it to make shields.

Next week we will start a series of  a basic understanding of the Aura and Chakras.
Have an awesome week.  Be safe if you go out to celebrate St. Patrick's day.
Blessings All,
Wendy

Question.....Cords....

Hi All,
I thought I'd ask a question today because it came up in a session.

We know about energy cords and that we plug cords into people that we come into contact with and they plug into us if we allow it.  Sometimes we don't know we've allowed it.  So it's important to cut cords frequently.

But here is something new to ponder.  So if I have strong energy cords with a person and those cords were bundled and protected so that the person who connected could not use them again why would you do that?  Why wouldn't you just sever the cords and burn the ends or something like that or ask the angels to take care of them?

Well here is what I learned.  By bundling them and protecting them from the person that created them or you helped to create them with, you are not pulling them out and leaving space for that person to reconnect with more cords.  And I guess you could protect the space where the old cord was but would it be as effective as leaving the cord making it null and void if you would?

Thoughts?

Someone said well we are all energy and our energy is connected so as energy can you truly sever a cord.
Right.....

Just thought I'd through that out and see if anyone had thoughts or ideas.
Hope you are all having a great week.
Blessings All,
Wendy

Energy Medicine, Donna Eden and Karma Clearing

Hi All,

This week I have a bit to share on healing yourself and some ways of getting that done.
Dates first:
Tuesday the 8th is the new moon.  Don't forget to do your ritual and burn your list of intentions.
Sunday the 13th is Daylight Savings time.  We lose and hour of sleep.  Yuck, I hate that.

Over the last few weeks I've been doing a great deal of working on my energy and self.  I've learned and been introduced to some new ideas that I'd like to share and maybe someone else can benefit from them.

I was introduced to two amazing woman.  The first is an energy worker who works with the body's energy with acupressure and meridians.  I started seeing her because I was having trouble sleeping and with shoulder pain.  The thing I was first impressed with is she was an RN and this current shift into healing with energy was a passion in which she had over three years of classes and clock hours with clients as part of her education for her energy practice.

At the end of every 1.5 hour session I have homework I have to do with my body's energy.  If you are going to find a energy medicine practitioner then get in the mind frame for homework.  The self work you will be doing will help your sessions go smoother and may lessen the number of sessions you may need.  Home work is usually tapping or rubbing a spot on the body for a few seconds or a minute.  These spots may be acupressure points.  I have also had to hold acupressure points.  All of this is has been releasing pain and helping my organs to function properly by balancing my energy and releasing blocks.

During a session she uses forms of muscle testing to check with the body a to what the body need.   She checks my aura and chakras.  She uses different ways such as a pendulum but mostly muscle testing.  I will say after three sessions the shoulder pain is gone.

This is the book my practitioner has and this the base for all her class work.

Karma Clearing:
This is another self help in energy work I have been introduced to in the last few weeks.  A friend of mine suggested I try a karma clearing.  What the heck is that?  We all have past lives right?  When we are living life we are making choices that affect not only ourselves but the people we are with at that time.  The harm or good done during those choices creates karma.  When we go through out lives we have karma to balance, debts to be paid and pieces of our energy we need to take back or find from places or people that we shared lives with.  Many of the people we share karma with are souls from our sould group on the other side.

For the group of women I talk and work with, we all believe in sould mates and twin flames.  We believe that most of our "partners" are men we've been with in past lives.  We've all done a lot of pat live regressions that allows us to go back and discover a lifetime and look at a life with a person and heal our self and the other from harmful things we both may have done in that past life.  The belief is by doing this then the karma is balanced and the relationship in this life becomes better or healed.

The woman I had a distance session is from MN.  I had a phone appointment the first day of a 10 day karma clearing.  Our phone session she took down names of people that I had past relationships with in this life and thought I'd have karma debts or karma to balance with.
I will say I started experiencing a change in my energy 2 hours after our phone session.  Every day for 10 days before noon, I would experience some kind of physical symptoms from headaches to sleep problems.  During the 10 days I didn't have to do anything but let her do her work.  I will say with one person's name I gave her, I went through some rough emotional days that were connected to that person.  He and I had a few lifetimes together.  I think there might be some more karma to clear between us so I can't wait until my check in day.

So now my 10 days are done and I'm into a stabilizing period.  During this time my energy will be called back from where ever it has been left over the year and lifetimes.  I have another check in appointment to make sure all the karma has been released and if not I have more work to do.  It has been an interesting experience.

If you are interested in either practitioner please drop me an email.
I will be in Hayward April 2nd for an Expo.  More information to come .
I will be in Eau Claire on April 30 for the Spring Psychic Fair.

Blessings All,
Wendy
