Reiki ~ Universal Life Force Energy

Hi All,

Dates this week:

May 1st Friday is Beltane or May Day.

May 3rd Sunday is the full moon. Manifesting is in full force.

Saturday I was at an expo and met quite a few interesting people. My friend Kristin came along to help me out, she was awesome! It was kinda a strange day. So let’s go with that for this week and maybe pick up on some review things with energy and energy working for those of us that might be new finding their way here from the expo this weekend.

Reiki   (RayKey)   Universal Life Force Energy
Is a simple form of energy that was rediscovered in the 1800’s by Dr. Usui. Reiki is passed through an attunement from Master (teacher) to student. This energy attunement aligns the student’s chakras and readies the body to become a channel for Reiki energy. Over a few days to a few weeks after an attunement the student may feel changes in his or her body and become sensitive to objects in the environment. Sometimes psychic abilities become pronounced as the person’s energy is opened to channel Reiki.

During a Reiki session the practitioner channels Reiki energy from the universe down through his or her crown chakra through the upper chakras to their arms and out their hands. Now traditionally a practitioner will touch the client with hand positions to allow the energy to flow from the practitioner’s hands then into the client and then Reiki flows down through the client’s body and out the soles of the feet into mother earth. Reiki energy in the body goes to the places it needs to go to clear out any energy blocks. When you have an energy block in the body it can manifest into an illness, pain, discomfort, or stress. Reiki assists the body in balancing the energy within so that one can maintain wellness. It is very important to drink plenty of water after a session and never replace Reiki for your medical doctor’s  treatment. However, Reiki can help bring relief to some of the side effects that medication can cause. I’ve used Reiki with cancer patients to help reduce the sickness brought on by treatments. Reiki sessions can help with sleeping problems and is generally a great way to relieve stress.

I also use Reiki throughout my house. I have stones attuned to the energy placed around my home. I also will draw Reiki symbols within my home to enhance the energy of my house to help me calm down after work. lol.
There is no limit to what you can do in your home to your food or skin care products with Reiki.

Nemeton Energy System

Is a system similar to Reiki that I channeled from the Goddess Nemetona and my guides. It brings in the assistance of trees, stones, and nature energies from the Midwest of the US, to call on the energies to help you do everything that Reiki does. However, because you are using earth based energy it is more grounding and you will become more connected to Mother Earth.

The biggest changes I have noticed since rediscovering my abilities from childhood and practicing energy work techniques is my abilities have come back stronger than ever and I don’t even think about what I am doing now, I’m so in tune with the energy and guides it just happens. However, I am constantly learning new stuff with each person I meet and talk with and am always happy to listen and share stuff.

With that I leave you all for this week. Have an amazing week everyone!

Essential Oils~ Animal Signs~ Crystals

Hi All,

Earth Day is Wednesday on April 22nd. What will you do on Wednesday to help the Earth out?

Saturday the 25th I will be at the Sleep Inn 29 Pines in Chippewa Falls, WI for the Spring Psychic and Wellness Fair. Admission is free and there are free classes all day. Stop in and see me! I will be signing copies of Mystic Monday and giving readings and doing sessions.

This weekend I had the most amazing time at the Covington Inn Bed and Breakfast. The view of St. Paul was beautiful, the river so peaceful and the company awesome. The cabin was a small trip back in time. The boat originally set sail in 1940 then was saved in 1995 from the salvage yard. It was then turned into a café and now is great little bed and breakfast that offers a unique experience for its guest. Liz, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the boat and St. Paul. She is also a wonderful cook. We were treated to Cinnamon French Toast with Carmel, fresh blackberries and strawberries with whip cream. Two pieces of sausage rounded out breakfast with a glass of O.J.. Here is their website if you would like to check it out. http://covingtoninn.com

So there is my shout outs for this week!

Let’s talk about how to enhance your energy work. I have been reintroduced to essential oils and have been using them in my sessions. Lavender oil is one of my favorites because it is not only calming but can be used to treat burns as it is a natural antiseptic and antibiotic. It can also be used as an antidepressant. I use it when I’m out of Tea Tree oil for ear aches. Lavender also helps to relax muscles so it makes a great rub with a little of your favorite carrier oil.

Lavender has magical properties as well. It helps to raise the vibrations of an area thus protecting one from lower energies that are not for your highest good.

Tea Tree oil is another antiseptic. It is also a great antifungal. You can use it on acne, ringworm and athlete’s foot, among other things.

My last favorite is Eucalyptus oil. I put this in a burner when I have a bad head cold and let the aroma fill the air. It helps with breathing and coughing.
I have a book The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy by Valerie Ann Worwood. This is a must have for your collection.

Animal signs have been popping up all over this last week, even in the clouds. I am a firm believer in animal signs as I have had many experiences with the messages they carry. The book Animal Spirit Guides by Steven D. Farmer, PhD is an invaluable reference. I have it in paperback and on google books so I can keep it on my phone for when I’m on the go.

Crystals are a huge asset when used in sessions. I love using amethyst, citrine and Lapis Lazuli. When I use crystals in sessions I place them around the body and on the body of the client I’m working with. When purchasing through friends at Maple House Art or at a shop in Minneapolis.

Well that’s about all this week. Next week I’m sure I’ll have many experiences to share after the expo on Saturday. Have a great week!

Blessings,
Wendy

Spring Cleaning

Well it is finally warm enough to sit out on my deck and enjoy the sun while I write and I love it! I did some yard work today and you know there is nothing that balances my energy more than being out in the yard with my hands in the dirt. The connection to mother earth is amazing this time of year as things start to awaken from winter’s slumber.

Dates this Week:
Wednesday the 15th the Celtic Tree Month of Willow begins. Willow has a connection to the moon and the tree of inspiration. It also nurtures the female aspect of nature. Willow will aid you in sleep. If you are having difficulties sleeping find a piece of willow and place under your pillow. Willow bark has also been used in treating pain such as headaches. Willow planted on your property will ward off harmful energies and act as a psychic shield so-to-speak.

Saturday the 18th is the night of the New Moon. This night is a high energy night for banishing that which no longer serves your highest good. So make your list and burn it or perform what ritual it is that you use to help you clear your energy of anything that is no longer aligned with what it is you wish to be in your life.

So this week with the new moon coming up and the weather getting warmer let’s talk spring cleaning shall we? Yeah I know that means work. If you are like me and live up north or in places where it gets cold during the winter and you are closed in all those long months, spring is not only a time for renewal outside, but inside your home and self as well. This is a great time to start cleaning out all the stuff you no longer need and I mean that physically and mentally. Start going through your home and decluttering!

Get rid of the things you are no longer using. If you are not the have a yard sale type then donate it. When you clear out the old new will have the space to move in. Mentally it’s time to sit and think about what is it you would like to accomplish. What are your dreams? How can you make a plan to make those happen? What is it you would like  to let go of? Past relationships? Friendships that both you and your friend have grown out of? There are ways to work letting go of that friend without cutting them out totally. Or maybe a friendship has turned where one of you is too needy on the other and it’s no longer healthy for either of you. This would be a great time with the new moon energy coming in to heal that friendship and send it on to the angles or universe to be healed so both parties can move on for their highest good.

Open the house up and let the air element flow in and sweep out all the stagnant energy from winter. Mayen this time of year is when you get out and reset the energy boundaries around your home so that unwanted energy cannot follow you into your home. It’s a great time to set your stones and crystals out all day in the sun and let them clear out all the energy they have been storing while in the house all winter. My deck is always filled with my collection of crystals that I use in my home and at expos when the sun is out. I kinda feel like I neglect them all winter even though I rotate them in and out of windows.

So this week I challenge you to think about what you want to “spring clean” out of your physical, emotional, or mental areas and let it all go with the new moon energy at its peak this Saturday. There is no right or wrong way to do any of this. Just ask that the guides or angels help you clear out whatever it is you no longer need and go with it. Remember better is coming in and it is okay to let go of old even if it feel scary.

Have an amazing week!

Wendy

Question & Answer Day!

Hi All,

Okay, I took Monday off because I usually write on Sunday . Well , Sunday I was with my family in the afternoon and then I just couldn’t get focused on a topic.

Today let’s dive into some basics because there were some good questions that came up this weekend when I was hanging out. So today is more of a Q. & A. page.

1.     Why can’t you just shut it off?  Well I can to an extent but what comes through when I’m out and about is meant to because there is something there that needs addressing. Okay what?  When I’m out in public and this goes for the majority of my friends that are psychics or intuitive energy workers, we can shut things off to a point. We can ask the guides to shield us and protect us from harm and lower energy. But I haven’t been able to just turn it off and I guess I’m a little afraid to since I turned it off and wouldn’t accept what I do as a child and it took forever and a lot of practice to work up to where I am today. So when I’m out in public, yes, the guides help me out by shielding me or protecting me from energy that is not my highest good, but sometimes stuff still comes through. I can’t walk into a building that has a ghost and just ignore it if the ghost wants something that I can help with. However,  I can treat the ghost, like I would any new person I meet, and explain hey I’m out right now with friends, I can’t really help….blah blah
Doesn’t always work, but it's respectful vs just ignoring him or her.

2.      Nature and rock formations. I have been known to leave the beaten trail and get into looking at trees or get off the path and look at rocks or actually put my hands on a rock formation and stand there for a minute and connect.
Why do I do this?  Can’t I just walk the trail?  No, I can’t . Well okay, I could, but then I wouldn’t be me and I’d feel like I’m missing something. See when I’m out in nature I feel the nature spirits and sometimes at sacred places I see the spirits of the past and pick up messages. When I’m out walking a trail I’m soaking in the peace of the land and the trees along with their energy. Helps me to balance and ground. I guess it’s the UP kid in me. I loved nothing more than a day in the woods to sit and just listen to the breeze and the trees. Rocks give off energy. So for me to go to a rock formation and put my hands on it, I’m grounding and feeling the energy of the rock and the earth moving through it. It really helps me to balance. I was out this weekend at a park in the cities and stepped into a small cave of limestone. I could feel the energy from the limestone rush into my hands and through me then back to mother earth. It is hard to explain but the connection is so amazing. There is a calm and a peace that waves over  you.

3.     Why do you keep stones in your pockets?  And why do you wear different stones for necklaces?  I do keep a stone in my pocket and it depends on what I am going through as to what type of stone that I keep on me. I also wear  a necklace every day that has a stone or crystal in it that I may feel guided to wear. These stones help by having their energy in my aura to protect, or keep me calm, connect more to spirit or shield. I have and love the book  “Love is in the Earth” by Melody. This is an amazing reference book because I can look up what I need help with and it lists stones by their energy vibration and your birth sign. I like to wear Peridot because it’s my birthstone but for a Leo it has a warm energy to it and it helps us to see patterns in situations we are going through or keep repeating so lessons can be learned and broken. It is also a huge protection stone. This is how I chose what I need. Love the book if you are into stones and using them in your sessions you should have this for your collection.

4.     Okay, So if you can’t shut it off how do you work a normal job without going nuts with all the energy and things that people bring in?  During my day job I would say 99% of the time it’s all normal. I don’t even ask to shield anymore because I think the guides and my energy has become accustom to what I go through during a work day. Now that isn’t to say I’ve not used Reiki or have not done a reading in my workspace because I have. I can use Reiki to chill out a room when the children’s energy is high. I do however, do a lot of cord cutting through the day and once in a while I will break out an essential oil blend to help me ground and shield if the day is too much.

5.     I’m not sure how to write this one….but it goes a little something like this... When you’re with me can you just tap in whenever you want and know what’s going on with me vs me telling you?  Ah No. Why?  Because of free will. As humans we all have free will. We are given that by our creator as a protection and a way for us to make our choices without being manipulated by our guides, angels, or others. So I cannot just walk around tapping into people I think may be interesting to get the inside scoop as to what is going on. However, I can tap in if that person’s higher self or energy is reaching out to me. I can work Reiki on someone who is sick and is unable to tell me "yes please work on me". What?  In the case of an emergency situation I can ask the person’s guides for permission to work on him or her with Reiki for their highest good. In the case of friends or intimates I can’t read them because I am too close to them and it just doesn’t work because I’m emotionally invested in the outcome.

So there are some basic questions and answers.

I will be at the Psychic and Wellness expo at the 29 Pines hotel on Hwy 29 and T in Eau Claire on April 25th. I will be signing copies of Mystic Monday and doing Reiki and Readings. Stop out and see me! I charge $20.00 for 20 minutes and it could go longer but I only charge the $20.00

Have a great week!
